At Journey Community Church, we believe that God has equipped each of us with unique spiritual gifts to build up the church and serve our community. Our desire is for every believer to discover, develop, and deploy their spiritual gifts with humility and within the context of our ministry together as the Journey family.

We believe that spiritual gifts are rooted in scripture and that these gifts remain active today. By recognizing and embracing these gifts, we can each contribute to the body of Christ in meaningful ways, ensuring that all aspects of our ministry together are strengthened through the diverse skills and abilities God has given us.

Pastor John is inviting the whole Journey family to join him in a Spiritual Gifts Seminar, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The seminar is free and includes childcare and lunch. This seminar is for everyone, even if you already know about Spiritual Gifts and are using your gifts in the ministry. Come share a testimony of how you have been using your gifts. If you have never explored this exciting part of the Christian life, please join us and you will receive an assessment of what your Spiritual Gifts might be and learn about areas where you can use them.

Come learn how God has uniquely equipped you to serve, and build up your character, spiritual maturity, and accountability as we use these gifts for God’s glory.

Our hope is to help each member discern how God has uniquely equipped them to serve. Whether through teaching, encouragement, mercy, or service, each gift is valued, and together, we work towards unity and maturity in Christ. Join us as we celebrate the diversity of gifts and seek to build a strong, vibrant church community to the glory of Christ.
