Stephen Ministry Starting in January

Arcadia Community Church is now an enrolled congregation of Stephen Ministry international. This ministry, which encompasses congregations of all denominations and has trained Stephen Ministers for 40 years, will begin January 10 when three Arcadia church members , as well as Pastor Larry Ballenger, will begin the Bridge Leaders training of Stephen Ministry with a ten week, hybrid class session which will launch Stephen Ministry at our church.

Stephen Ministers are congregation members equipped and commissioned for caring ministry. They come from many different backgrounds, ages and walks of life, but all have one important thing in common: a heart for bringing Christ's healing love to hurting people.

It is anticipated that we will begin recruiting and training our Stephen Ministers at Arcadia Community Church in the spring of 2023, when our Stephen Leaders have completed their Bridge Leaders training,
